Hello there! It’s Beth from Bourbon Creek Crafts back today and I’m playing with the new Cool Treats paper collection recently released by Scrapping for Less. I love the combination of popsicle patterns along with the dots and stripes. You can watch the full process video for my projects HERE.

For my first project, I made a card using the watermelon treat paper.

I started off with a spearmint green card base. I added a mat of white cardstock and then the polka dot side of the patterned paper. I matted my strip of the watermelon pattern with white cardstock as well to help it pop. I added my sentiment along with some Blushing Red Nuvo Crystal Drops to finish off the card.

For my next project, I used an entire sheet of the pastel popsicle pattern paper to decorate a Dollar Tree mini comp book.

I cut 2 patterned paper pieces to 3 by 4.5 inches. I adhered these to the front and back covers of the comp book. I used part of the remaining strip I had to back my sentiment/embellishment on the front of the notebook. I used my last scrap piece to decorate the inside of the front cover.

For my last two projects, I chose this cute rainbow popsicle pattern. I started with the nail file holder and cut this patterned piece down to 3.5 by 6 inches. Then I scored it at 1 inch, 1 1/4 inches, 2 1/4 inches and 3 1/2 inches. I put the box together, added my nail file and then embellished with a tag punched from a scrap of the patterned paper and a sticker from a previous kit.

And for my final little project, I made a mini post it note holder. I cut down the remaining piece of the pattern paper to 2 1/4 by 5 inches. Then I scored at 1 1/8 inches, 1 1/2 inches, 3 1/8 inches and 3 1/2 inches. I glued in my Dollar Tree mini post it note pad. I added a small piece of adhesive velcro to help my holder to stay closed. Then I finished if off with another tag cut from scraps and popsicle sticker.

Thanks for stopping back by today! I hope you enjoyed these projects! They were so fun and quick and I know some young girls who will love them!
